Ljiljana Rakic has worked as head nurse of acute leukemia and other hematological disorders, hemostasis, and haemophilia at the Department of Hematology, Clinical Center of Serbia, in Belgrade since 1987.
She works as a health educator in the Haematology Clinic and participates in a number of clinical trials as a study nurse. She is the president of the Education Committee of the Chamber of Nurses and Health Technicians in Serbia and is a Nurse member of the special working group of the Health Care Council of Serbia on accreditation and continuing medical education. Ljiljana has presented her work in the field of nursing with a special emphasis on haemostatic disorders and is an active participant in congresses, symposia, and professional meetings in Serbia and abroad. She has been a member of the World Federation of Hemophilia (WFH) Nurses Committee since 2014, representing South East Europe, and a member of the EAHAD Nurses Committee since 2016.
