EAHAD will be awarding travel grants to junior physicians and scientists (35 years old or younger), PhD students, post-doctoral researchers, nurses, physiotherapists, and other allied healthcare professionals wishing to attend the EAHAD 2018 Congress taking place in Madrid, Spain from 7-9 February.
Grants are available for both European and international participants.
The grants go towards covering registration, travel, and accommodation expenses to attend the congress (based on actual costs and receipts) and will be awarded on the basis of abstract submission, application quality, and financial need.
The award will be presented on-site at the congress. The award recipient must come in person to receive her/his grant. No payment will be made before or after the Congress.
To be eligible for a travel grant, candidates should:
– Be working in haemophilia-related services
– Be actively interested in haemophilia and allied disorders
– Have submitted an abstract for oral or poster presentation (preferred)
