EAHAD is inviting experts in the treatment and care of women and girls with bleeding disorders to apply for one vacant post in its Women and Bleeding Disorder Working Group. The position is for a two-year term that would begin in November 2022.

Women and Bleeding Disorder Working Group membership offers an opportunity to contribute to the development and implementation of women and bleeding disorders projects and initiatives.
If you are interested in applying, please send a short letter of motivation (maximum 300 words) outlining why you wish to be a part of the Working Group.

Your letter should include the following information:
• Full name
• Haemophilia Treatment Centre you are affiliated with
• Number of years working with women and girls with bleeding disorders
• Whether you work with children, adults, or both
• Specific areas of interest in the field of women and bleeding disorders

Applications should be sent by email to diana.carbonero@eahad.org no later than Monday 10 October 2022.

The current Working Group members will carefully consider all submissions to select the applicant whose profile and motivations best fit with the Working Group’s current composition. To encourage geographical diversity, at any given time there may be no more than two members from a given European country.

Please note that in order to be considered for a position on the Women and Bleeding Disorder Working Group, you must:
• Be an expert in the treatment and care of women and girls with bleeding disorders,
• be able to speak and read English at an intermediate or higher level, and
• be available to participate actively in the working group’s activities, including attending a majority of meetings (3 per year) and responding to emails. We estimate the average amount of work required to fulfill these duties is 1 day per month.

For more information on the role and structure of the Women and Bleeding Disorder work, please consult the Terms of Reference.
Should you have any questions about the application process, please do not hesitate to contact EAHAD Project Manager, Diana Carbonero at diana.carbonero@eahad.org.
