2017 Research Grant Recipients
EAHAD is proud to award research grants to support scientific projects aimed at improving the care of people with inherited bleeding disorders. The grant competition is open to all scientists and healthcare providers working in the field of inherited bleeding disorders in Europe and undertaking pre-clinical or clinical research. The grants of up to €50,000 each are for projects lasting up to three years.
For this inaugural competition, EAHAD received 23 applications from 11 countries.
The two recipients for 2017, first announced during the EAHAD 2017 Congress, are:

“Does ADAMTS13 influence the bleeding phenotype in von Willebrand disease?”
Project duration: April 2017-March 2018
Grant amount: €47,950
