Gabriella Nicolò is a study nurse at Angelo Bianchi Bonomi Haemophilia and Thrombosis Center – Fondazione IRCCS Ca’ Granda Ospedale Maggiore Policlinico in Milan, Italy.

 

She firstly obtained her Bachelor Degree in Nursing from the University of Milan in 2012, then she achieved a Master Degree in Nursing and Midwifery Sciences from the University of Milan-Bicocca in 2018. To pursuing her educational goal in clinical studies, she obtained a post-graduation Master in Clinical Research from the University of Milan in 2020.

 

She worked as registered nurse in oncological clinical trials, then in the paediatric assistance in Bone Marrow Transplantation Unit and in the Neonatal Subintensive Care Unit.
Since 2019, she served as specialized nurse in Healthcare Professional Department carrying out nursing research projects, drafting internal operating procedures, teaching and tutoring healthcare assistants.

 

Since 2020, at the Center, she plays an active role in daily clinical practice and in the management of clinical trials (i.e. phase 1, 2, 3 and 4) coordinating clinical and nursing activities between patients with clotting disorders and physicians. She is involved in the care of both children and adults.
